- Support sound credit risk management and achieve optimal level of risk-reward balance for CBG portfolios
- Cultivate & maintain a consistent consumer credit culture in the Bank to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards
Key Accountabilities
- Manage Regulator Reporting (Monthly/Annually/Semi-annually as per requirements)
- Ad-hoc data requirement from any regulator/auditor
- Manage end to end process for Bureau Reporting/NESL reporting which would also include managing customer escalations, maintaining data quality & ensuring the same happened within prescribed timelines.
- Identify problem areas & propose & implement solutions to increase the Data Quality on various reporting.
- Manage internal/External Audit requirements,
- Engage proactively with stakeholders from Business, Business Analytics, Credit Strategy, Credit Approval, Technology, Operations etc to ensure any requirement is addressed in timely manner
- Be updated with latest regulator changes in line with business & envisage impact to our business lines.
- Support Digitalisation projects / Automation of reportings .
Job Duties & responsibilities
- Perform regular and ad-hoc risk reporting to consumer credit management/ line of business stakeholders and MIS preparation for regulatory reporting.
- Identify opportunities/ gaps to improve data quality and existing reporting processes.
- Understand exact requirement from internal/external stake holder & action appropriately.
- Maintain checklist of all reporting to be done by due dates, track the same closely & publish on weekly basis.
- Highlight risks in timely manner to ensure timely action can be taken to mitigate the same
- Present MIS & data in required formats which are visual, universally understandable or easy to interpret
- Provide UAT support for any data migration or MIS platform enhancement to ensure successful implementation.
ExperienceAt least 5-7 years of experience in financial sector towards Retail Credit risk MIS/Analytics/ CIC (CIBIL) Reporting and CIBIL dispute management process.Education / Preferred Qualifications
- Degree holder, preferably in risk management/ quantitative discipline
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Access).
- Good understanding and knowledge of credit cycle management (acquisition, collection & portfolio management) in a consumer credit environment preferred.
