Job description: Job Description:Are you interested in the computational dimensions of AI and can you help build the next generations of AI systems?DTU Compute’s Section for Cognitive Systems has an opening for an Associate Professor in Machine Learning Operations (MLOps).Excellent candidates with experience in MLOps are encouraged to apply. The university is located in the greater Copenhagen area, which is acknowledged for its excellent standards of living, childcare and welfare system.As a part of your responsibilities as a DTU associate professor, you will:

• Publish impactful work in leading AI conferences and journals.
• Secure funding for your research from national and international sources.
• Teach, guide, and supervise BSc and MSc students, as well as supervise PhD students (co-supervise, if Assistant Professor).
• Actively support and contribute to the BSc AI and Data and the MSc Human Centered AI.
• Actively participate in creating a vibrant and productive research environment.

You must be responsible for the teaching of courses. DTU employs two working languages: Danish and English. You are expected to be fluent in at least one of these languages, and in time are expected to master both.Qualifications
As formal qualification you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent) as well as academic qualifications equivalent to those obtained by holding an assistant professorship and documented didactic/pedagogic training.You will be assessed against the responsibilities and qualifications stated above and the following general criteria:

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
