This role will also have the opportunity to assist other teams within the Finance Department and Human Resources Departments at MUFG.This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing organization.

• Ensure full-cycle payroll processing for Canada on a semi-monthly basis following Government Legislation and Company Policy
• Ensure full-cycle payroll processing for Cayman on a monthly basis following Government Legislation and Company Policy
• Prepare and reconcile month end journal entries
• Complete Canadian Year-End processing – including T4s and T2200s
• Prepare and remit Payroll taxes and other relevant remittances
• Prepare and remit multiple Pension contributions
• Ensure that all government remittances and other payments are processed
• Provide outstanding customer service to all employees and partners

Qualifications

• Relevant College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Have or be working towards a Payroll designation (National Payroll Institute)
• Minimum of 2 years payroll experience
• Knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
