Servers leadership role in development, evaluation and implementation of governance, risk and compliance and processes to mitigate cybersecurity risk and ensure protection of company and allied assets and information. Researches and interprets current and pending laws and regulations, industry standards and customer and vendor contracts to understand and communicate compliance requirements. Consults with business and technical leadership to ensure that data, processes and technology are designed for data protection and compliance. Oversees information security risk assessments and compliance audits; directs the development and operational effectiveness of IT security controls. Monitors investigations and documentation of cybersecurity compliance issues and incidents. Reviews information security risk findings and non-compliance with business leaders and proposes solutions to mitigate risks.Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs and other related duties may be assigned.Scope of Responsibilities:· Has strong delivery management abilities to execute global programs and leads multifunctional teams.· Builds metrics and routinely develops reports in multiple formats to convey business value.Executes operational objectives and begins to partner with senior leadership on strategic planning.· Builds delivery plans and enables resource alignment with departmental and administrative process· Works on highly complex assignments where problem solving requires conceptual thinking as all factors may not be clearly defined.· Erroneous decisions may cause critical delay in accomplishing annual goals and directly impact the overall success of a function or multiple departments.· Frequently interacts with senior management and/or executives on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.· Applies advanced knowledge to convince stakeholders of desired departmental outcomes.· Interactions require the ability to negotiate and persuade others in sensitive and complex situations while preserving relationships.· Directs the activities of two or more disciplines or departments.· Frequently advises team(s) on complex matters and has significant influence in terms of budget, methods, and staffing.· Oversees experienced professionals and may be responsible for subordinate supervisors and/or managers.· In some instances, may be responsible for a functional area and not have any subordinate employees.Experience/Education:· Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 15 years of related experience, with 7+ years of Delivery Management experience.Illumina believes that everyone has the ability to make an impact, and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to providing employment opportunity regardless of sex, race, creed, color, gender, religion, marital status, domestic partner status, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, pregnancy, military or veteran status, citizenship status, and genetic information.
