We achieve this by cooperating with health care professionals, by drawing relentless inspiration from nature, and by placing pharmaceutical ethics at the very heart of our operations.Summary:The Financial Planning and Analysis Associate Director position is an integral part of the finance team supporting Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals and reporting to the CFO. The FP&A Associate Director will lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecast, and monthly reporting. The overall type of work ranges from recurring routine analysis to one-off ad-hoc analysis & projects.The person will be required to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build and manage effective working relationships throughout the organization.Essential Functions:

  • Oversee and direct financial analysis, budgeting and planning activities for the organization.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to support the monthly close process.
  • Prepare monthly reporting package working with key functions and business partners to understand the variances and the potential impact on business performance.
  • Work with the CFO to streamline and improve reporting to offer management insights to make more informed business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain cost and revenue models. Perform scenario planning.
  • Develop KPI metrics and other tools to evaluate performance of the business.
  • Work closely with budget holders to ensure adherence to budget through establishing an efficient process of budget control and tracking.
  • Proactively identify risks and potential opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues across the organization to improve communication and understanding of the business.
  • Work on strategic projects assigned.
  • Proactively conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data, and develop processes to streamline data collection and reporting.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Background in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare sector is preferred

Work Environment / physical demands / position type and expected hours of work:

  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
  • The normal working hours of the office are from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
