The position requires extensive experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, and team leadership.Key Responsibilities:Cost Management: Lead the month-end and quarter-end expense management and analysis process (including expense allocation) to deliver accurate and timely expense management reports to key stakeholders and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvementsBudgeting and Forecasting: Lead annual Expense Budget & Expense Study and drive annual Business Plan, Strategic Plan and quarterly forecast processes, ensuring alignment with business objectivesFinancial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to support business initiatives and assess performancePerformance Monitoring: Monitor financial performance against targets and provide actionable insights to managementCross Department Collaboration: Act as Business Partner and collaborate across different business functions to drive strategic initiatives and provide guidance on financial matters. Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives and resource allocationReporting and Presentations: Prepare management reports and presentations for executive management, summarizing key trends, issues and strategic recommendationsProcess Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements within Expense Reporting and Analysis team and implement best practices; perform ad hoc projects where appropriateQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field, qualified accountant (CPA) or equivalent10+ years of experience in business planning or financial analysis, experience in Insurance industry is highly preferredMinimum 3 years in a managerial positionStrong analytical and strategic thinking skillsExcellent stakeholders’ management, communication and presentation skillsExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)Collaborative team player, independent and able to make decisionsStrong coaching skills to lead Expense Management and Analysis teamThis role is ideal for an experienced finance professional looking to take on a strategic position in a dynamic business environment.
