This person manages and supports daily operations to ensure service level agreements are met and quality is maintained. The Associate Director is also a manager of people, they’re a leader who helps foster healthy culture and staff development. This role requires technical knowledge and experience of loan operations, documentation, and accounting. Reporting to the Director, Debt Services, you will:

• Manage daily operations to ensure SLAs are met in an efficient manner
• Perform reviews on setups and credit agreements, or any other deliverables, for the operations team
• Manage client relationships and be a point of escalation
• Champion quality and continuous improvement
• Participate in new service development and support new service rollouts
• Participate in and manage projects to enhance the overall service offering
• Support and uphold a culture of control and compliance with company policy
• Collaboration with internal operations groups, across multiple departments, to drive results
• Management of personnel, including ongoing feedback, performance management, and recruitment

Qualifications

• University or College business degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
• Relevant designation in accounting, finance, or management would be nice to have
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience in fund administration or relevant financial services in private credit
• Expert understanding of Syndicated or Private loans and their underlying principles
• Extensive understanding of credit agreements and relevant loan attributes
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
