Job description: A. About the Job: Reporting to the MD/CEO of Property Investment Pillar, you will work within the Portfolio Management team. You will be responsible for overall portfolio management, strategic collaboration across business pillars, market intelligence and competitor benchmarking to enhance business decision-making. B. Job Responsibilities: PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT Work closely with internal & external stakeholders to develop long-term corporate goals and value proposition initiatives. Monitor and evaluate business plan execution, performance metrics and profitability of various business units to ensure optimal resource allocation and identify gaps to rectify. Identify and analyze market trends, macroeconomic factors, regulatory shifts, and competitive positioning to guide capital allocation strategies. Perform competitor benchmarking, analyzing financial performance, strategic initiatives, and market positioning of key industry players that impact business targets and key performance indicators. Provide leadership, coordination and communicate key activities for annual planning and budgeting cycles and thereafter tracking & monitoring on a monthly & quarterly basis. Prepare reports and recommendations for periodic reviews of the management team and Board related to strategic analysis & corporate planning. Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. To perform ad-hoc strategic analysis and consolidated reporting as and when required. STRATEGIC PLANNING Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of corporate planning initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and external partners. Work closely with the Corporate Planning & Strategy team to provide data-driven insights that shape long-term corporate strategies, business portfolio decisions, and growth initiatives. Work closely with the Digital & Innovation team to draft & implement the technology framework & policies that shape the technology adoption, platform applications and workflows. Assist the Transformation & Change Management team by drafting, tracking and reporting value-creation projects. Manage OKR setting and subsequent monitoring of OKR metrics (including key initiatives) across the Pillar and individual business units. Support the Risk Management team by identifying market risks and providing intelligence to enhance enterprise risk frameworks. Provide inputs for strategic reports and presentations for the management team, ensuring data integrity and strategic alignment with the Group’s corporate plans. C. Skills and Qualifications Minimum Tertiary education preferably in Accounting / Finance / Business Study / Economics / Engineering or equivalent. Experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning or business analysis is essential. Strong understanding of financial concepts, key performance indicators and business metrics. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with problem-solving ability and stakeholder management skills. Adept with cross-functional collaboration for data collection, clarifications and interpretation. Intellectual curiosity, strong professional judgment, work independently and have initiative mindset. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Minimum 2-4 years relevant experience in finance, accounting, audit, corporate strategy or planning, equity research, real estate, investment banking or consulting. Proficient in tracking & reporting performance metrics and benchmarking, and supporting strategic data-driven decision-making and improving business processes.
