CCB’s aim is to act as a trusted thought partner to support our clients’ growth by providing access to the full suite of banking solutions – including lending, trade, cash management, FX and advisory services.The CCB Digital and Technology Coverage Team focuses on new client acquisition, origination and relationship management of high growth companies across several sub-sectors including software, fintech, online media & entertainment, digital payment intermediaries, online travel and AI. Using Citi’s industry expertise and insights we are able to tailor global solutions that cover all the banking requirements of Digital and Technology companies from early stage start-ups through to mature publicly listed corporates.The roleReporting to the Australian Head of the Digital and Technology sector, this heavily client facing role represents a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to join a rapidly growing business in a fast paced industry. Working with a dynamic team and making a measurable impact – with the support of the Citi global network. The successful candidate will help deliver on Citi’s ambition to become the primary bank for the Digital & Technology sector in Australia.Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the team on identifying and prospect new business opportunities
  • Builds relationships with client network and operational teams, becoming a key contact for requests/problem escalation and resolution
  • Drives timely completion of Know Your Client (KYC) and other regulatory requirements, in partnership with product partners and Relationship Managers (RM)s
  • Helps clients to access Citi’s global network, driving client coverage and product support across the globe
  • Works with RMs and product partners to on-board new clients/new subsidiaries and KYC/initial credit set-ups completed
  • Has a developing knowledge of credit underwriting and coordinates credit requests and approvals from Citi’s global network
  • Engages with product partners and Citi’s global network to identify revenue opportunities and to position certain products with clients
  • Partners with Credit team to ensure credit documentation is kept current: FX, derivatives, Loans, LCs and other credit-related documents
  • Monitors usage of credit lines, and partners with Independent Risk during client Annual Reviews
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 4 or more years relevant experience

Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
