• Prepare and manage monthly financial statements including head office reporting and perform variance analysis
• Serve as Accounting’s PIC for IFRS transition project, leading tasks such as analyzing closing/ reporting processes, assessing change impacts, confirming requirements, and planning IFRS reporting with IT tools/EUC.
• Ensure adherence to HKMA and other regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement enhancements to reporting and closing processes, leveraging knowledge of bank products (e.g. securities, derivatives, loans)
• Proactively participate in accounting related projects

Job requirements

• University graduate with accounting or related degree
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in banking, with a focus on financial reporting, month-end closings, or regulatory compliance
• Strong knowledge of bank products including securities, derivatives, loans and deposits
• Familiarity with IFRS standards
• Proven ability to manage complex reporting processes and coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in Excel
• Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to process improvement
