Discover how you can make a difference in the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world.Job Description:Job ResponsibilitiesChampion “Total Solutions” and Drive Channel StrategySpearhead the “Total Solutions” approach to drive business growth and achieve ambitious top-line and new business value targets for Corporate Agency (CA) channels.Develop and implement a comprehensive, data-driven channel strategy.Establish, review, and continuously optimize the target operating model for the CA channel.Lead a high-performing team to execute the strategy with precision and agility.Provide nuanced, balanced insights and constant feedback on clients’ and CA partners’ evolving needs across Products, Marketing, and Operations.Proactively promote and strategically position all company tools, products, and services to CA partners.Drive profitable growth through innovative partnership approaches and value-added solutionsMarket Intelligence and Strategic RecommendationsConduct in-depth, insightful market studies and research, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.Analyze and synthesize complex market and industry trends, identifying emerging opportunities and potential threats.Develop comprehensive, actionable recommendations for the L&H leadership team.Drive strategic and tactical actions for business development, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.Stay ahead of industry disruptions and technological advancements, positioning the company for future success.Innovative Corporate Agency Model DevelopmentConceptualize and develop cutting-edge corporate agency models that significantly enhance the Total Solutions offering.Drive the business approval process, building consensus among key stakeholders and decision-makers.Oversee the implementation process, ensuring seamless integration and successful launch of new partnerships.Cultivate and maintain strategic, high-level relationships with key partners and stakeholders.Leverage these relationships to drive mutual growth and create sustainable competitive advantages.Performance Management and Operational ExcellenceEstablish comprehensive OKRs for the CA channel.Implement robust monitoring systems and conduct regular performance reviews.Utilize advanced analytics to identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven optimization strategies.Lead cross-functional collaboration efforts to enhance operational efficiency and drive synergies across the organization.Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to ensure sustained excellence.Talent Development and Succession PlanningCreate a Business Development talent pipeline that has a full understanding and embraces Sun Life’s total propositions.Mentor and coach team members to drive high performance culture and ensure the continuity of the CA channel.Job RequirementsUniversity Degree holder in recognized universitiesAt least 10 years’ of relevant experienceStrong Knowledge on insurance regulations, market, products, distribution channels, and clientsExcellent skills to collaborate with and influence distribution channels / business counterpartsAbility to translate strategy into plans and actionsStrong business initiation and drive to deliver resultsHigh business integrityResponsive to the marketLeader and management capability in leading a team of diversityWe offer 5-day work, attractive salary, MPF, group life and group medical insurance; and excellent career development opportunities to the right candidate.We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
