- Assist in assessing purchase requisitions and ensure that key suppliers meet the required quality of service to fulfill business needs. Review contracts for compliance with hotel policies, conduct market price comparisons, and ensure accuracy.
- Assist in obtaining competitive quotations and bids, and participate in negotiations for service contracts.
- Identify and develop reliable sources of supply, while staying informed about marketplace innovations and value.
- Oversee the procurement of goods and services, coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Manage and maintain purchasing records, reports, and documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.
Requirements
- Higher diploma in Materials, Procurement Management, or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of solid experience in a supervisory role within a hotel purchasing or procurement team.
- Proficient in both food and beverage procurement, as well as non-food purchases and service contract negotiations.
- Familiar with Check SCM; experience with previous system implementation is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
- Immediate and short-notice availability preferred.
