Job description: The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is recruiting for an open rank, CFA, radiation oncology faculty position with an anticipated start date of September 2026. This position will be appointed and credentialed through the Department of Radiation Oncology at MD Anderson. The major clinical focus for this faculty will be on the treatment of Gastrointestinal malignancies. The successful applicant will assist in the development and enhancement of the department’s ability to provide clinical expertise in the multidisciplinary care of patients and other symptoms associated with their radiation treatment. The successful applicant will develop a robust clinical/translational research program that advances the therapeutic paradigm. Faculty are also expected to participate in the teaching of faculty, fellows and residents. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a cutting edge clinical environment, engage in clinical and/or laboratory research and teach.Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) years post MD degree:
- Completion of ACGME accredited radiation oncology residency program
This position has a target base salary of $415,136 to $489,306 and is eligible for incentive compensation, comprehensive health, wellness, time off, savings, and retirement benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable.
