- Assist Payment Manager / Team Head to resolve payment and fixed assets issues with internal departments and suppliers
- Continuously improve the operating model of Payments by optimizing productivity for onshore/nearshore payment processes
- Lead initiatives to enhance strong governance of procure-to-pay processes and keep abreast of industry practices to apply in operating environment.
- Handle enquiries from different external parties e.g. government, solicitors and auditors, etc. and assist Payment Manager to reply and take follow up actions when required
- Handle enquiries from internal departments regarding their assets, payments and expenses, IT Department/ Facilities Management Department legal projects, provide images of supporting documents, reports, etc.
- Check and ensure that the processing of all payment/ petty cash transactions complies with the Bank’s policies, guidelines and circulars and the transactions are correctly accounted for
- Follow up the reimbursement of expenditures from affiliates including but not limited to management of open item keys, copies/ images of supporting documents, issuance of reimbursement memo/ letter, funding arrangement emails, fund settlement, etc.
- Prepare several monthly control reports for CEO, General Management Office and Financial Control Department
Requirements
- Higher Diploma/ Associate Degree or above in related discipline, e.g. Accounting & Finance, Business Management, etc.
- Relevant academic/ professional qualification preferred, e.g. LCC, AAT, ACCA, HKICPA, etc;
- Over 3 years’ experience in handling payment/ accounts payable
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Self-motivated, hardworking, with good sense of responsibility and integrity
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and risk awareness
- Able to work under pressure
- PC literate with knowledge of MS Excel and Words
