- Manage and support the daily operations of the supplies and procurement function, including but not limited to tendering, centralised procurement of goods and services, medical equipment and medical consumables, inventory and asset management to meet the business objectives and performance of the function
- Monitor, measure and review suppliers’ capability and performance, such as quality assurance, contract compliance and delivery schedules
- Assist in the development and achievement of departmental objectives, and ensure the compliance with related regulations, policies and procedures in all procurement activities
- Provide management reporting and key performance data for the supplies and procurement function to assist in identifying risks related to quality, cost, supply and delivery of purchases
- Develop and coach subordinates of the supplies and procurement team to deliver added value and continuous improvement
- Perform any other duties (in the capacity as Assistant Manager, Supplies & Procurement) as assigned by supervisor(s) from time to time
Job Requirements
- Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Purchasing/Supply Chain Management/Logistics disciplines
- At least 3-5 years’ solid experience in supplies and procurement field of which at least 2 years at managerial or supervisory level
- Experience in procurement, particularly in the healthcare sector or a sizeable organisation will be an advantage
- Strong and proven supervisory and people management skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Self-motivated, independent, responsible and able to work under pressure
- Proficient in MS office applications; Hands-on experience in using Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) System – Supply Chain Management is preferred
Compensation and Employment TermsWe provide a unique employment experience for people seeking careers in hospital and healthcare industry; and offer competitive remuneration packages to the successful candidates.
