  • Perform data mining to prepare credit data for Credit Committee, portfolio analysis, identification of potential problematic account and irregularities of collateral value, etc.
  • Contribute to regulatory reporting / survey preparation
  • Perform assessment for level of provisioning under HKFRS 9
  • Proactively and closely monitor the progress of all criticized accounts with regular reporting to Senior Management
  • Assist the business units in resolving problematic accounts including the formulation of exit plan
  • Handle recoveries of loans/advances under government scheme
  • Assist in formulating and reviewing credit policies, guidelines and procedures to regulate the credit activities undertaken by the bank
  • Handle ad-hoc credit tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines
  • Holder of ECF-CRM is preferred
  • Strong computer skills in Excel VBA, SQL and SAS
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial credit risk management and debt recovery functions in banking industry
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and banking practices on credit risk management
  • Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills
  • Good multi-tasking skills and ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Self-motivated with strong risk control sense
  • Good communication, negotiation and business writing skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
