Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain and support existing application infrastructures and adapt new technologies in response to the requests and requirements timely from the other delivery teams
• Project management of IT system enhancement works, especially on application infrastructure installation, testing, commissioning and skill transfer
• Mange internal developers and external contractors to ensure delivery of quality solutions that effectively address the business need such as review internal developers and external contractors progress, manage contractors’ software design and development quality to ensure the implementation of appropriate application architecture, standards and best practices in the development activities; including documentation, design, programming, testing, installation and implementation
• Monitor the performance of the responsible systems to identify areas of possible enhancement; and close out outstanding system issues by implementing fixes or upgrades. Plan and conduct system activities such as system upgrade and drill exercise
• Maintain and support the existing application infrastructures and provide second line support to application infrastructure. System support and ad-hoc technical assignments during non-office hours may be required

Requirements

• Degree holder in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering or related disciplines
• Holder of Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• A minimum of 6 years’ relevant working experience in which at least 3 years’ experience in IT planning, design, development and system implementation management in sizable companies
• Experience in aviation / airport applications is preferred
• Business domain knowledge in aviation industry is an advantage
• Mature, self-motivated, customer-oriented with excellent communication and project management skill
• Sound knowledge and experience in Enterprise Application Integration, Container Platform, Electronic Document Management Systems and/or Business Intelligence
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
