Job Purpose To obtain medical evidence/report/history from clinic/hospital/doctor/relevant institutions to substantiate claims decision for health claims cases sent for investigation. The Role: Conduct objective, fair, detailed and timely investigation on dubious health claims cases in supporting claims assessment. Perform interpersonal and communication skills with various stakeholders while conducting investigation works. Collect, secure and manage evidential material and confidential information gathered during investigations activities. Undertake analysis, identify issues from health claim cases and provide strategies to obtain relevant information to rectify the issues. Work collaboratively with other departments and where appropriate refer matters to them under the relevant findings from the course of investigation. As part of the leadership team, work with key stakeholders to proactively shape the organisation’s culture and conduct environment that is aligned to the organization’s Core Values. Champion culture and conduct behavioral expectations within the Department/Division. Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks. Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company. Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices. Other responsibilities entailed. The Person: Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Finance/ Accounting/ Business Administration/ Pharmacy or other related fields At least 5 years working experience; proven understanding in Investigations, Medical/ Pharmacy/ Laboratory knowledge. Strong analytical skills with an enquiring mind to efficiently carry out effective investigations . Good management, organizational, leadership and communication skills. Demonstrates alignment with the organisation’s core values through expected behaviours. High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork. Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
