Job description: Support the Internal Audit Manager in planning, executing, and overseeing audits, evaluating internal controls, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The role involves preparing reports, managing audit activities, conducting follow-ups, and providing recommendations for process improvements.Audit Planning and Execution: Assist in developing the annual audit plan and programs, and execute audits from start to finish, including planning, fieldwork, meetings with stakeholders, documenting findings, and preparing final reports.Internal Control Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify risks, and ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Audit Reporting: Prepare and submit various audit reports, such as Monthly Progress Reports, Activity Reports, Internal Audit Reports, and follow-up reports for review by senior management and the Audit Committee.Follow-Up and Monitoring: Lead follow-up audits to track the implementation of corrective actions from previous audits, ensuring effective resolution of identified issues.Staff and Process Development: Support staff development programs, contribute to departmental improvement initiatives, and conduct workshops to educate employees on internal controls and risk management practices.Special Investigations: Assist in conducting investigations or special reviews as directed by senior management, addressing any concerns related to financial or operational risks.Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with operational teams to ensure smooth audit processes and effective risk management practices.Continuous Improvement: Provide recommendations to enhance business processes, improve internal controls, and mitigate risks, helping drive operational efficiency and organisational growth.Opportunity for Professional Growth and Development|Competitive Compensation and Benefits, with Global Exposure

  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in internal or external auditing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIA) are a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Audit Skills: Proven ability to independently execute audits, analyse findings, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for preparing reports and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships with operational teams and educate staff on internal control best practices.
  • Proactive & Detail-Oriented: Focused on identifying risks, solving problems, and driving process improvements.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with a focus on continuous development.
  • Leadership: Capable of guiding and supporting audit staff and contributing to team growth and development.
