14 May 2025Role IntroductionReports to: Customer Experience Manager – EntertainmentThe role is part of a global team in our Customer Experience & Design (CED) department who aim to refine, invest and improve in the areas that we know matter most to our customers, that reflects our Move Beyond promise: one that is consistent and reliable.As the Assistant Manager – IFE Content Operation, you will play a key role in our vibrant and fast-paced Inflight Entertainment Content team, collaborating across teams to maintain detailed communication with both internal and external partners, ensure that all technical and operation functions run efficiently. This role involves content versioning, collaborating with global teams and meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. We will work together to ensure a world-class Inflight Entertainment (IFE) experience to our passengers.Key Responsibilities
- Screen inflight entertainment content, including movies and TV programs, from a compliance perspective and create accurate edit notes
- Support the content strategy for Inflight Entertainment (IFE) experience, including Movie, TV, Music, and Games
- Assist the end-to-end IFE content process from content planning, selection & acquisition to material delivery and marketing promotion
- Review and documentation of content license agreements, which includes interpreting contractual terms and understanding the application of our content strategies
- Contributing the analytical strategy behind our content buying and deal analysis of new partnership
- Work closely with internal teams, content service providers and technical partners to meet multiple operation timelines
- Conducting market research, competitive analysis and compiling trends from both entertainment and traveling industries in order to drive actionable insights
- Work cross-functionally with dynamic internal teams and external parties to curate, deliver and manage IFE experience
- Proactively uses data, reporting and industry benchmarks to provide thoughtful analytics, actionable insights and recommendations
Requirements
- Looking for a proactive, motivated, enthusiastic team player who believes IFE as a differentiator to the airline
- 6+ year experience in Entertainment or Media industries (i.e. Music Labels, Movie studios, TV Broadcasters, Artist Management, etc.)
- Customer-centric mind-set and comfortable with analytics
- Ability to influence internal and external cross-functional teams effectively
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills – able to identify, analyse and propose solutions to various business issues
- Strong understanding of the media landscape, from traditional medias, streaming platforms and upcoming trends
- Experience in design thinking and agile development preferred
- Experience in IFE is a plus, but not a must
- Bachelor degree in Social Sciences, Business, Media or related subjects
