Job description: AKHS,P is looking for a seasoned and dynamic Assistant Manager Budgeting & Reporting for its Central Office, Karachi.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating annual budgets based on financial forecasts and strategic goals.
  • Evaluate expenses to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Compare actual expenditures with budgeted figures to assess financial performance
  • Ensuring funds are distributed effectively across departments or projects.
  • Periodically revising budgets to reflect changing business needs.
  • Prepare financial statements, summaries, and periodic reports for management.
  • Ensure financial reports comply with legal and industry standards.
  • Monitor key financial indicators like profit margins, cash flow, and return on investment.
  • Provide insights from financial data to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Work with various departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy in reporting.

Experience, Skills and Competencies:

  • Master’s in finance or relevant field / Finance Professional degree & preferably ACCA / ICMA / CA-Finalist
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of working experience (including 3 years of post-qualification experience in financial management) preferably with a large health care set-up
  • Sound knowledge of overall financial systems, International Financial Reporting Standards, and statutory/tax regulations
  • Good analytical acumen with ability to analyze in depth issues and problem solving
  • Excellent proficiency with computers, especially MS Office is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of accountancy obligations and rules and tax implications
