Job description: Assistant Food & Beverage ManagerWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining venues within The Lodge at Castle Leslie Estate or The Castle.This is a key leadership role focused on delivering outstanding guest experiences, ensuring high operational standards, and managing a dynamic food & beverage team.About the roleKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the restaurant and lounge teams to deliver an exceptional service experience in line with Castle Leslie Estate’s standards.Oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of Snaffles Restaurant, Conor’s Bar & Lounge, and related F&B service areas.Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to maintain high levels of efficiency and motivation.Drive guest satisfaction through exceptional service, attention to detail, and warm, personalised hospitality.Work closely with the Executive Chef/Head Chef and Events team to coordinate service for events and special occasions.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.Monitor financial performance including budgets, cost control, and sales targets.Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Requirements:Minimum 2 years’ experience in a restaurant or F&B management role, preferably in a luxury setting.Proven leadership and team management skills.Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Passionate about hospitality and guest experience.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.Benefits:Competitive salaryMeals while on duty.Staff discounts across the estate.Opportunities for career progression and training.A beautiful, supportive working environment within a close-knit team.About the companyCastle Leslie Estate is set on 1,000 acres of undulating Irish countryside, dotted with ancient woodland and glittering lakes.
