Job description: About the roleWe are seeking a skilled finance professional to manage key financial processes and improve operational efficiency. This role involves month-end and year-end financial activities, budget assistance, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely reporting.Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end and year-end estimates and reviews; assist in the annual budgeting process.
• Review and manage expenses, invoices, funding arrangements, and the drafting of financial policies and procedures.
• Oversee APAC audit work and tax returns for APAC entities, ensuring timely compliance with regulatory deadlines.
• Act as a liaison between outsourcing service providers, Group Finance, Fiscal teams, and local teams.
• Generate reports, perform analyses, and conduct reconciliations on financial matters, including month-end reports, financial forecasts, and liquidity management.
• Manage and reconcile bank accounts.
• Participate in finance-related projects with APAC and Group, focusing on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting systems.
• Assist in control testing as needed to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Address accounting and related issues for ad hoc assignments.
• Conduct periodic reviews of outsourced service providers and proactively seek improvements to the company setup.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial institutions, fund houses, or auditing preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and proficient in time management.
• Familiarity with IFRS/HKFRS accounting standards is a plus.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
