  • Education: 4 year, Bachelors Degree, required. Degree in Accounting or Finance. Graduate Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years extensive healthcare reimbursement experience including advanced knowledge of teaching programs (Indirect Medical Education / Graduate Medical Education, Nursing and Allied Health Education), transplant programs, hospital designations, cost reporting, and/or Medicare/Medicaid Disproportionate Share Hospital reporting, and Medicare bad debts, required.
  • Licensure/Certification: CPA, preferred.
  • Additional Skills Required: Demonstrated ability to:educate and lead audiences to understand complex reimbursement issues and drive organizational changes to achieve optimized reimbursement

summarize findings, publicize results, and educate senior leadership as appropriate interface with all levels of team members and leadership. Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks.Requires excellent communication skills necessary to interact with staff at all levels. Must exhibit patience and a positive attitude. Must have good analytical skills and be able to evaluate current processes for improvements and efficiencies. Ability to drive/travel since limited travel may occasionally be required.

  • Additional Skills Preferred: High-level healthcare reimbursement experience in a health system or reimbursement consulting practice highly desirable.
