Your work will help our council reach its potential and be an organisation that our community and stakeholders recognise as delivering against our City Goals.Both roles will be Deputy Monitoring Officers and report directly to the General Counsel. They are at the heart of our democratic decision making, playing an integral role in supporting Members and senior leadership realise our ambitions and to shape how we work differently with both internal and external partners into the future. We understand the strategic role that legal plays, through effective business partnering, timely advice on complex issues and ongoing committee support – all of which are integral to high performance and good governance.If you are committed to good governance, with a proven track record in working with Elected Members and Senior Leaders in decision making processes and are passionate about leading legal teams to deliver transformation andhigh performing services, we would love to hear from you.This is a politically restricted post.
