Job description: Job SummaryJob DescriptionPlease Note -this is a 9-month contract role.What is the opportunity?In this 9-month contract role, you will be part of a dynamic team of professionals responsible for the operation and expansion of the eDiscovery program within the Information Management Department through the identification, preservation, collection and production of RBC electronic documents required for disputes, investigations, compliance as well as legal and regulatory proceedings. You will support the ongoing needs of the eDiscovery Operations Team within our Law Group and involve multiple activities including administration, technical support, matter management and communications within and representing the team. The eDiscovery Operations Specialist supports operational effectiveness that helps increase the team’s success and visibility.What will you do?
- Coordinate with the eDiscovery Case Managers to review and track request and project statuses, accurate metrics/reporting and deadlines, while maintaining positive customer relationships
- Maintain accurate tracking and statistics on all active cases; coordinating and executing the case archiving and closing processes on a quarterly and annual basis
- Provide training on and troubleshoot any issues with any software supported by eDiscovery Operations and/or Information Management
- Produce various reports around defensibility; monthly activity on active cases and other relevant reporting for auditing and other statistical purposes
- Execute simple collection, processing, exporting activities in Enterprise Vault, using Veritas eDiscovery Platform (Clearwell), and deliver a legally defensible product
- Work closely with senior legal, compliance, investigation, HR, Employment and IT business partners to effectively manage their various requests
- Work on various administrative tasks relating to the eDiscovery Operations Team not listed above

- Experience working with databases
- Experience coordinating programs and multiple stake-holders
- Effectively re-aligning priorities as required
- Collaborative work style, and commitment to get the job done in a detail-oriented, client-focused time-pressured environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills along with outstanding customer service skills
Nice-to-have
- Post-Secondary Degree or Certificate in a related field
- Experience coordinating, managing and prioritizing various requests and demands from multiple sources
- Procedural expertise – knowledge of RBC Discovery processes, procedures and interdependencies
- Knowledgeable in the use of the Veritas eDiscovery Platform (Clearwell} and/or other Litigation Support software from an end user and administrator perspective
