Based in Sydney, our CAD Cadetship offers a structured two-year training pathway designed to build your skills and experience in civil infrastructure drafting and digital deliverables. • Collaborate closely with engineers and senior CAD technicians to deliver high-quality drafting services.
• Prepare detailed sketches, plans, charts, and designs for civil engineering projects including drainage, roads, rail, airports, and more.
• Interpret technical instructions and apply relevant standards to produce accurate documentation.
• Collect and compile data for catchment and drainage analyses.
• Assist with site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, and contract requirements.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Drafting, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency or demonstrated ability in drafting, preferably using MicroStation or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of civil infrastructure design, with experience or interest in highways, rail, or related fields.
• Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A motivated, team-oriented attitude with the ability to manage workload effectively and excel under pressure.
