• Take inventory of records such as textual records, photographs, maps, videos, and audio recordings

• Enter information about these records into a database using tools like Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.)

• Carefully handle old and valuable materials following archival best practices (training provided)

• Support the team in keeping track of what records are most important to Inuit and how they should be preserved

• Travel with the team to communities in both the North and South as needed

• Communicate clearly with team members and community partners

• Work in a respectful, culturally informed way, with a focus on meeting the needs of Inuit

• Knowing Inuktitut and/or having experience with Inuit cultural knowledge or community work is a strong asset.
• Experience with archives or digital recordkeeping is helpful, but not required
