Job description: The Opportunity:

• 3 months (with possibility of extension)
• Full time preferred (open to 4 days)

About You:

• You are experienced in Consumer Credit (NCC knowledge) and privacy laws
• You are experienced in commercial contracts
• You are experienced in financial regulation credit or general financial regulation related contracts and advisory activities
• You have inhouse experience ideally with experience in projects
• You have experience with Section 47 and Section 912 of the Financial Services Act and incident reporting
• You have some litigation experience
• You have some regulatory investigation/litigator experience (but would still need strong front-end experience)
• You have the ability to quickly grasp the commercial aspects of a matter/request
• You have the ability to manage short term requests as well as juggle longer term work efforts
• You are comfortable reaching out/leaning into the business if needing assistance with a difficult/complex matter
• You have the ability to hit the ground running and work closely with a fast paced team
• You have the ability to work autonomously and prioritise
• You have a minimum of 6 years’ experience
• You have the ability to understand and adapt to the needs of the business
• You have a current practising certificate
• You have the right to live and work in Australia
