Do you dream in mood boards and find inspiration in the interplay of space, architecture, and fashion?Haworth is seeking a dynamic Art Director to own and elevate our brand’s visual identity through captivating photography and video.As an Art Director you will:Be the driving force behind Haworth’s visual aesthetic, leading the vision to shape an organic, beautiful, and ever-evolving brand. This involves conceptualizing and executing innovative photography and video shoots that capture the essence of Haworth’s design philosophy. You will collaborate closely with diverse teams, vendors, photographers, and stylists to bring your creative vision to life, ensuring all visual assets align with Haworth’s strategic design solutions and business objectives, thereby elevating the overall quality of our design output. Furthermore, you will provide expert guidance and innovative solutions to complex design challenges, pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling.Essential Functions

• Lead Creative Direction: Provide creative direction and leadership for design projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives
• Develop and Implement Design Strategies: Develop and implement comprehensive design strategies to support marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, and business objectives
• Manage Design Budgets and Resources: Develop and manage design budgets, allocate resources strategically, and oversee vendor relationships
• Drive Design Innovation: Foster a culture of design innovation, exploring and implementing new technologies, processes, and approaches to enhance the creative output
• Mentor and Develop Team Members: Mentor and develop junior designers, providing feedback and guidance to enhance their skills
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Leaders: Collaborate with leaders from other departments, such as marketing, sales, and product development, to align design efforts with business goals
• Engage in Current Industry Trends and Technologies: Continuously monitor industry trends, design innovations, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative and creative solutions and to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
• Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
• Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Interior Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design, Marketing, photography, or similar field of study.
• 7 years experience in Art Direction spearheading brand vision for video and photography, from initial design and concept development through successful product launches. (5 years related experience with Master’s Degree)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a corporate environment.
• Experience with interior design and knowledge of the furniture industry.
• Well versed in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in Adobe After Effects.
• Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
