• Perform accounting activities in the area of Accounts Receivable in accordance with corporate and local standards.
• Complete tasks in line with the closing schedule and task lists maintained by the department.
• Handle customer open items daily; investigate discrepancies and correct them or coordinate with relevant departments.
• Process incoming requests via email and phone in a timely and professional manner.
• Support quarter-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, ad hoc reporting, investigations, and provision of backup documentation.
• Cooperate with the Tax Accounting team to ensure accurate and compliant records.
• Participate in monthly closings: revaluation of accounts, IFRS and local reconciliations, preparation of financial reports and statistical reports.
• Keep accounting documentation and manuals up to date; ensure timely task execution to meet closing deadlines.
• Provide necessary information and data to internal stakeholders, auditors, authorities, and headquarters.
• Support and train new team members.
• Act as a backup in other accounting areas (including AP and SA) in case of absence or high workload.
• Perform other tasks or participate in projects assigned by management.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Experience in AR or related accounting area.
• Good understanding of accounting standards – IFRS or local GAAP.
• Fluency in Finnish and English (both spoken and written).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage.
