Job description: This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loadingThe RoleAre you an experienced APS 6 Senior Assessment Officer, Financial Viabilitylooking for you’re a long-term non-ongoing contract and ready to start ASAP?Are you based in Canberra, Adelaide, Brisbane, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney?If you answered yes to these questions, then this just might be the role for you!Duties:

• Actively monitor VET providers that are exhibiting financial risks
• Undertake risk assessments of VET providers in accordance with the Financial Viability Risk Assessment Requirements Instrument 2021
• Prepare financial analysis reports that provide well-reasoned advice on VET providers exhibiting financial risks, ensuring analyses identifies recommendations and next steps
• Contribute to initiatives that support VET providers to identify and implement strategies to improve their financial performance
• Contribute to process improvements, including inputting to revisions to approach to the assessment of VET provider financial viability and conduct – and preparing work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Work collaboratively with other team members and participate in peer reviewing financial analysis reports
• Support the Assistant Director, Financial Viability by identifying and escalating risks and emerging issues in a timely manner.
