The Role
Your position reports to the Assistant Director, National Priorities and Planning. Your role involves researching and providing considered options and initiatives relevant to ADF reservists, their employment conditions and how our team can best support their civilian employers. You will be involved in the planning and conduct of international and national level activities as well as the researching and drafting of strategic documents and policies. You will also be involved in other NPP team responsibilities including the administration and governance of the Prince of Wales Award scheme and assisting in the administrative functions of Defence’s Supportive Employer Program. Please note some travel will be required to support engagement activities.About our Team
Reserve and Cadet Support Division delivers a range of capabilities and services including ADF Cadets, Defence Youth and ADF Reserves and Employer Support (ADFRES), in order to contribute to Defence capability and preparedness. ADFRES provides direct support to ADF Reservists, their employers and the community. The Directorate comprises four teams: National Priorities and Planning (NPP); Regional Engagement (RE); Employer Support and Service Protection (ESSP); and Policy and International Engagement (P&IE).Our Ideal Candidate
