The Role
This position is responsible for ensuring several Work Health and Safety Systems are maintained by providing a comprehensive range of safety advisory and management activities.The key responsibilities of the position include:

• Overseeing the management of Australian Defence Force (ADF) and Australian Public Service (APS) personnel

• Conducting high level data analytics and generating reports to inform safety decisions

• Managing business administration tasks to support safety operations

• Providing assurance support to ensure compliance with safety regulations

• Overseeing a wide range of Work Health and Safety activities

In addition, this position will act as the data lead for Maritime Safety Bureau (MSB), responsible for maintaining and analysing safety data. The role also includes providing advisory advice on Hazard and Risk Management and Safety Incident Event Management to all Fleet Command Forces, Groups, and Business Units.About our Team
The Fleet Command Maritime Safety Bureau (MSB) is tasked with the establishment, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of safety management across Fleet Command. MSB provides subject matter expertise for major exercise planning.Our Ideal Candidate

Your main customer is the Fleet Commander followed by Headquarters Staff along with other Royal Australian Navy ADF and APS

Expected salary: $95187 – 108734 per year
