Job description: We are seeking an experienced Applications Management Specialist to lead the establishment and enhancement of IT service management processes within a newly formed division. This role is critical in defining and implementing IT governance frameworks, ITIL-based service management, and operational excellence within a dynamic and evolving technology environment.Key Responsibilities:
Establish and standardize IT service management processes, including incident management, problem management, and monitoring standards.
Develop and maintain IT governance, ensuring compliance with ISO certifications and service assurance standards.
Oversee change control processes, ensuring adherence to structured methodologies and best practices.
Lead the documentation of processes and standards, ensuring a structured and efficient operational environment.
Drive the adoption of ITIL frameworks, aligning IT operations with business needs.
Monitor and manage application performance, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruptions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance metrics and enhance service delivery.
Provide leadership in vendor and stakeholder management, ensuring high service quality.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience in IT service management, IT operations, or a related field.
Strong background in ITIL, service assurance, and governance frameworks.
Experience in incident, problem, and change management within a structured IT environment.
Proven ability to build and implement IT processes and standards from the ground up.
Exposure to ISO certifications and compliance standards.
Telecom industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; experience in a technology services company is highly preferred.
A proactive leader with a change management mindset, driving teams toward process excellence.
