Reporting to the Manager of Platform Services, the Application Administrator will be responsible for the deployment, administration, configuration, and optimization of Oracle WebLogic, custom applications, and integrations in both on-premises and Azure environments. This role will ensure the stability, performance, and security of enterprise applications while providing technical expertise in troubleshooting, automation, and system optimization. The Application Administrator will play a key role in supporting Azure projects, ensuring seamless integration, migration, and performance optimization within the cloud environment.What you will be doing:
System Administration & SupportManage, configure, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, including Azure and data center environments.Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for infrastructure-related incidents.Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, security, and compliance.Azure Migration SupportAssist in the planning and execution of the organization’s Azure Migration Project.Support migration tasks, including system assessments, workload transitions, and post- migration optimization.Collaborate with project teams to ensure a smooth transition to cloud services.Configuration & ImplementationPerform system setup, configuration, and maintenance across servers, storage, and networking components.Implement best practices for security, backup, and disaster recovery in both on-premises and cloud environments.Troubleshooting & Issue ResolutionDiagnose and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and operational impact.Provide technical expertise to internal teams, escalating issues when necessary.Documentation & Process ImprovementMaintain detailed documentation of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.Contribute to process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives.Collaboration & CommunicationWork closely with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align infrastructure solutions with business needs.Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing within the Infrastructure Services Team.What you must have:Oracle WebLogic Administration – Proven experience in deploying, configuring, and managing Oracle WebLogic Server in both Azure and on-premises environments.Performance Tuning & Optimization – Expertise in optimizing WebLogic Server and Azure infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.Troubleshooting & Log Analysis – Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze logs and diagnose issues in WebLogic and Azure environments.Automation & Scripting – Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Linux Shell scripting for automating administrative tasks and infrastructure management.Azure Experience – Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security best practices.Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Familiarity with automated deployment methodologies and infrastructure- as-code practices.Architecture & Documentation – Ability to design and maintain architecture diagrams using Visio or Draw.io and create clear technical documentation.Collaboration & Communication – Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, infrastructure engineers, and security teams.Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving system issues.Security & Compliance – Understanding of security best practices for WebLogic and Azure environments, including identity management and access controls.Preferred Experience – Familiarity with Oracle JD Edwards, Oracle Siebel CRM, and Oracle PeopleSoft.Nice to have:Azure certification & 5+ years of experience implementing Azure resources.10+ years of experience managing and supporting on-premises applications, including webserver and middleware technologies.For more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
