Job description: About the Opportunity

• Supervise and support the AP team in daily invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and expense reports in accordance with company policies.
• Review and approve journal entries and payment batches.
• Maintain the vendor master file, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable, including accruals.
• Monitor AP aging reports and ensure timely payments while maximizing cash flow.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoice and payment status.
• Develop, implement, and maintain AP policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist in audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
• Train, coach, and evaluate AP team members; ensure proper workload distribution.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

About You

• 3–5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices
• Accounting experience/education, general accounting experience
• MS Dynamics is a huge asset (use business central)

Pay Range
