Job description: Job Brief Provide comprehensive analysis and evaluation of technologies to support strategic decision-making for commercialisation and funding initiatives. The position exists to conduct technical assessments, market feasibility studies, and risk analysis, guiding the development and market potential of local R&D innovations. Job Responsibilities Conduct detailed technology assessments, including viability, scalability, and potential impact of R&D products. Perform market research and analysis to evaluate the commercial feasibility of technologies. Develop recommendation reports for project’s fit, highlighting potential challenges and mitigation strategies for commercialisation. Support the tech assessment team in structuring and implementing evaluation frameworks for diverse R&D projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs on technical requirements and industry standards. Contribute to the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Monitor industry trends and innovations to provide insights into emerging technologies and market shifts. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and guidelines in technology assessments and recommendations. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology Management and Business Management or other relevant field Professional certification in Technology Assessment, Innovation Management, or other equivalent qualification would be an advantage Possesses at least 2 to 3 years of experience in technology assessment, market research, or innovation management. Displays familiarity with research and development (R&D) of technology commercialisation processes or possesses the experience of working in a similar environment. Possesses experience in market research and data analysis with the ability to balance technical and market feasibility assessments to support commercialisation goals Knowledgeable in technology R&D and innovation ecosystems Keep up with the rapid and ever changing technology trends and industry standards
