This is what #LifeAtBNY is all about.We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Analyst to join our Tax Reporting & Compliance team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Provides operational support for the preparation and maintenance of tax records, returns, and reports for internal and/or external clients.
- Supports the coordination of tax-related regulatory filings. Gathers required data elements, as needed, for various regulatory filings. Provides status updates on progress of data collection.
- Implements system and operational modifications to comply with more straightforward regulatory changes. Updates tax forms and information return layouts.
- Performs first-level quality assurance of tax deliverables for more complex clients in accordance with department policies.
- Tracks data needed for tax calculations. Reviews work of junior team members, resolves data discrepancies and escalates issues to more senior team members.
- Responsible for the quality and completion of own work. No direct reports.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline is preferred.
- Two to three (2-3) years of total work experience is preferred.
