MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFGs global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.Roles and Responsibilities:

• Individual will be responsible to understand the given requirements and work with the team on the automation projects.
• Work as part of a centralized team to produce, design, implement and support the developments of new dashboards or excel templates using VBA/Python/Power BI for process & reporting enhancements/improvements.
• Work closely with business teams to understand the existing process and work on solutions to improve the overall process efficiency.
• Support the day-to-day BAU process teams in creating automated reports for better control & visibility.
• Proactive in identifying Data Quality Issues and driving both tactical and strategic data remediation (both for MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities)
• Identifying opportunities for improving our end-to-end customer experience
• Interact & communicate effectively at all levels and build strong working relationship on an ongoing basis with business and IT partners
• Develop internal controls and metrics to continuously monitor trends and data quality; implement processes to detect, correct and prevent invalid data or errors
• Drive decisions to ensure optimal solutions are based on both commercial and business requirements
• Support continual deep dive and trend analyses of data to provide Senior Management with key insights
• Support strategic projects to enhance the MI Reporting capability.

Job Requirements:Candidate Profile:

• Degree level education in relevant subject (e.g. finance, maths, physics etc.)

Work ExperienceEssential:One or more of the following is essential:

• Experience of working in a MI Team (preferably with prior Banking experience) with a good understanding of the importance of process automation & Data Quality.
• Experience of working in end-to-end automation projects.
• Exposure on creating dashboards using analytical tools.(Power BI / Tableau / Salesforce etc)
• Experience in Front Office (1LoD) management environment working with a team of data analysts.
• Experience within Corporate & Investment Banking, Capital Markets or Securities and exposure to related entities is essential.

Functional / Technical Competencies:

• Proficiency in MS Office with Advanced Excel (Power BI, Power Query, VBA)
• Basic knowledge of Python will be an added advantage.
