We’re looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join the Asset Liability Management (ALM) Forecast Team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing senior management with accurate, timely and comprehensive reporting and forecasts of the balance sheet, net interest income (NII), and funds transfer pricing (FTP). ALM is also responsible for managing the asset and liability positions of the bank, primarily through the measurement and monitoring of interest rate risk, to help inform and develop balance sheet strategies.Role Responsibilities:Coordinate with business finance partners and model development to create a Deposits balance sheet and income forecast that incorporates macroeconomic drivers, historical behavior, and line of business strategyProduce daily, weekly, monthly deposit reporting for executive leadershipPerform analysis around Deposits and FTP (both projected and actual) to understand performance drivers by line of business and product, and communicate balance sheet and income impacts across relevant stakeholdersDevelop business partner relationships with other associates across the ALM team, Corporate Treasury, business finance teams, and line of business stakeholdersLeverage Deposit model outputs to support critical use cases such as interest rate risk, capital management and stress testing, funds transfer pricing, and liquidity riskActively seek to understand how changes in the regulatory and/or macroeconomic environment may impact Deposit and FTP driversHelp inform and support strategies to drive financial results within the company’s risk appetiteBasic Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
– Typically two or more years of related experiencePreferred Skills/Experience
– Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures
– Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills
– Basic knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning
– Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
