Job description: Billing Manager Location: Redhill Surrey Salary : up to £50,000 Employment Type: Full-Time Client:Our client is a leading provider of satellite communications and connectivity solutions. They are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Airtime Billing Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the UK Airtime Billing cycle and will play a key role in ensuring the billing processes run smoothly and efficiently.Main Purpose of the Job:As the Senior Airtime Billing Manager, you will own and manage the monthly billing cycle, ensuring timely and accurate management reporting. You will oversee the UK Airtime Billing team, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to maintain high standards of service. Your expertise in billing processes and systems will be essential in supporting the wider team, including providing training and resolving customer queries.Key Responsibilities: Billing Management: Own and manage all aspects of the monthly billing cycle, ensuring all tasks are completed within the required timeframes. Team Leadership: Manage the day-to-day activities of the UK Airtime Billing team, providing support and guidance as needed. System Expertise: Ensure all requests for billing and provisioning are resolved accurately for both internal and external customers. Airtime Processes: Oversee the processing of airtime activations, deactivations, and changes. Ensure that all Early Termination Fees are communicated to customers. Reporting: Generate and analyze airtime reports to aid key stakeholders such as the CEO and Sales Director in making informed decisions. Error Management: Run daily or weekly housekeeping checks to identify and resolve errors, unprocessed orders, or CDRs before the billing run. Invoice Processing: Run invoice processing within the product timeframe, ensuring invoices are validated, approved, and issued to customers accurately. Customer Support: Handle queries and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Ticket Management: Manage Freshdesk ticketing queues, ensuring tickets are categorized, resolved, and customers are kept updated. Supplier Liaison: Process supplier invoices, ensuring timely approvals and accurate purchase ledger activities in collaboration with the finance team. Training & Support: Provide internal and external support and training as requiredSkills & Experience: Proven experience in airtime billing, provisioning, or a similar role within the telecoms or satellite communications industry. Strong knowledge of airtime systems. Ability to manage complex billing cycles and reporting requirements. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience managing or leading teams is desirable. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.
