Additional information can be found at: www.chubb.com.Your RoleThe primary responsibility is to provide administrative and underwriting support to the Underwriting Management and Product Underwriters in the Accident and Health portfolio, to ensure the provision of timely and professional service to brokers.Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist underwriters with the preparation of new policies, renewals, endorsements renewal notices and certificates.
  • Assist with underwriting administration tasks.
  • Input data information into spreadsheet required for a variety of tasks.
  • Answer general enquiries and correspondence from brokers, refer more complete enquiries as appropriate.
  • Input of risk / capacity and premium tracking information into underwriting monitoring systems.
  • Product standard reports as required.
  • Check and reconcile information as required.
  • Perform other general support duties as directed.
  • Participate in underwriting related projects as requested.
  • Occupational Health & Safety
  • Accountable for taking all practical measures to ensure that the workplace and persons under their control are safe and without risk to health.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of NCEA level 2 completion.
  • Previous office administration experience (in the insurance industry would be most desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills capable of dealing with all levels of personnel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
