Job description: about the company.Our client is seeking an experienced Agile Product Delivery Lead to champion the efficient and effective delivery of the digital platforms & applications. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of agile excellence, optimizing delivery flows, and empowering the teams to consistently deliver high-value products to. You will work closely product teams, development teams, and seniro stakeholders to ensure alignment, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement in our delivery processes based on agile approaches.about the job.
- Optimize Digital Product Delivery Flows: Analyze current digital product delivery processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Design and implement streamlined workflows and practices that enhance speed, quality, and predictability.
- Address Obstacles in the Delivery Plan: Proactively identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and impediments that could impact the successful delivery of digital products. Facilitate the resolution of issues, escalating where necessary, to keep delivery on track.
- Monitor and Analyze Delivery Metrics: Define and track key agile delivery metrics (e.g., lead time, cycle time, velocity, burndown rates, defect density) to gain insights into team performance and delivery effectiveness. Analyze data to identify trends, areas for optimization, and inform decision-making.
- Coach and Foster Agile Delivery Approaches and Best Practices: Serve as a champion for agile principles and practices (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.). Coach and mentor teams on agile methodologies, ceremonies, and best practices to enhance their effectiveness and maturity.
- Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Guide and facilitate key agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives to ensure they are productive, focused, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management and Communication: Effectively communicate delivery progress, risks, and dependencies to relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and managing expectations. Foster strong working relationships with technology teams and other departments.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration and coordination between multiple agile teams, ensuring alignment on goals, dependencies, and timelines, especially in larger product initiatives.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the delivery teams. Encourage experimentation, data-driven decision-making, and the adoption of new and innovative agile practices.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Business Adminstration or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant experince and demonstrated success in improving digital product delivery flows, such as implementing automated testing, optimizing release cycles, or enhancing cross-team coordination for digital products. Previous experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach is advantageous.
- Extensive experience in addressing obstacles in delivery plans, including resolving cross-functional dependencies, mitigating risks, and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Expertise in monitoring delivery metrics, such as using tools like Jira or Tableau to track KPIs and drive data-informed process improvements.
- Proven track record of coaching and fostering Agile delivery approaches, including mentoring Scrum Masters, Product Owners, or teams on Agile best practices and scaling Agile in enterprises.
- Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster(CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or SAFe Agilist is desirable.
- Proficient in both Chinese and English speaking, and currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit is a must.
- Strong business sense and ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels, effectively translating technical ideas into simple language in a multicultural environement.
