Wellington City Council’s team provides more than 400 services every day for Wellingtonians – everything from parks and pools to consents and cemeteries – playing our part in making Pōneke the creative capital where people and nature thrive.Supporting the many services of Te Kaunihera is our Financial Planning and Partnering team who are responsible for leading the financial planning and annual baseline budgeting processes for the Council, including providing strategic financial advice on business activities which informs executive decision making, programme, initiatives, projects, and policy creation.You’ll be joining a dynamic team at the heart of the Council’s strategic financial decision-making. As our Advisor Financial Planning, you’ll play a critical role in the development of Wellington City Council’s Long-Term Plan (LTP), Annual Plans, and budgeting processes. This is more than just a numbers job, it’s about influencing the city’s future through insightful, accurate financial advice and modelling.What you’ll be doing:
