Job description: About the Opportunity

• Review incoming flagged orders regularly and touch base with clients to confirm payment steps before releasing
• Navigate through the daily task list for collections—reaching out by phone or email, logging progress, and tracking commitments to pay
• Handle customer concerns, resend billing documents as needed, and raise any recurring payment issues to leadership
• Set up and update customer accounts in internal platforms, and help ensure payments are reflected properly on their records
• Process card payments weekly and maintain up-to-date records within the processor’s portal
• Suggest and lead small improvements to collection systems or communication tools where you see fit

About You

• Around 3 years working in a payment collection setting, ideally supporting product-based business clients
• Comfortable using tech tools (chat platforms, shared inboxes, collection software, etc.) and adapting to new systems
• Hands-on experience with accounting or resource planning tools, and familiarity with digital payment systems
• Solid working knowledge of spreadsheets (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
• Curious, proactive, and effective in communication—especially when managing tough conversations with clients
• Exposure to collections-specific ERPs is helpful but not a must
