Orient Insurance PJSC is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to assist in the preparation of budgets, management reports, and financial statistics required by Government Ministries. – Supervise the preparation of accounts receivable ledger for Orient Head Office to provide timely statements of accounts to clients, ensuring accuracy and corrective action where necessary.
– Reconcile accounts receivable statements for Orient Head Office, branch offices, and chief agency with the general ledger to identify and resolve any variances.
– Assist the Finance Manager in collecting and compiling data to prepare reports related to underwriting and financial matters for timely management decision-making.
– Compile and collate financial and statistical information reports for timely submission to relevant government departments, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
– Review and analyze financial reports submitted by branches to verify accuracy and assign appropriate accounting effects to respective transactions.
– Maintain and update the accounts of insurance brokers to verify and highlight any variances for corrective action.
– Check premium registers to verify record accuracy and identify variances for remedial actions.
– Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting and adherence to company policies.
– Support month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Required Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.Experience:
– Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of experience in banking, insurance, or financial services.
– Experience in accounts receivable, financial reporting, or general ledger reconciliation is an advantage.Skills:
– Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
– Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook, and internet applications.
– Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
– Proactive, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external clients.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Additional Requirements:
