Job description: The opportunity – Te tūrangaWe have a fantastic opportunity to join TVNZ’s Finance team. We are looking for an Accounts Payable star who will be responsible for supporting the Finance team and company by delivering excellent customer service through the efficient and effective operation of Accounts Payable. This is achieved primarily through timely and accurate processing of invoicing and company expenses.In this role, you will focus on

• Accurate and timely processing of all Accounts Payable invoices and credit notes in NZD and Foreign currencies.
• Processing of employee expense claims.
• Maintaining invoice queues through daily processing
• Positive and friendly assistance to queries directed to the Finance team.
• Assist with General Ledger Reconciliations

What we’re looking for – Tā mātou e kimi neiTo be successful in this role, we will need the following

• Couple of years’ experience working in a large Corporate in a support finance role
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices regarding Accounts Payable, Expenses and General Ledger.
• Prior experience with purchase order systems.
• Basic understanding of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong experience with expense management systems would be an advantage.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Be able to communicate financial information to non-financial managers in a way that is easily understood.
• Patient and persistent attitude and uses diplomacy when dealing with both internal and external customers.
