Job description: TVB, the leading TV station in Hong Kong and the world’s number one distributor of Chinese Programme, marks the successful transformation of TVB from a traditional television station to a company amalgamating three different platforms – broadcast TV, online TV and social media.Responsibilities:

Responsible for freelance/artiste payroll functions including payroll calculations, MPF contributions, payment and filing of tax returns
Assist in month-end closing including voucher preparation
Assist in preparation of regular payroll schedules to support management review
Communicate with other departments to ensure a smooth workflow on payroll process
Assist in the implementation of new payroll system
Perform other ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

Diploma in Accounting or related discipline
At least 1-2 years’ experience in Accounting
Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
Independent, detail-oriented and with strong sense of responsibility
Proactive work attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills
Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
