  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Record journal entries and reconcile accounts using Great Plains accounting software.
  • Process payroll in adherence to federal and provincial regulations.
  • Review and schedule payments in accordance with vendor terms and conditions.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closings, including financial report preparation.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Support the accounts payable ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Collaborate with team members on ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to key projects as required.

What You Bring:Experience:

  • Strong working knowledge of payroll processing systems and procedures.
  • In- depth knowledge of Sales Tax, and Canadian payroll regulations.
  • 3+ years experience in full cycle payroll processing and accounts payable.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Payroll designation (PCP, CPM) is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, and data analysis).
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
